Amante, (CH Boulder's Bolder Amante SH on Fusion Vizslas and on Boulder Vizslas), took the points on both days (and going "Best of Winners" on Sunday) of the Evergreen Kennel Club shows on Sept 6 & 7.

Off to an impressive start, of the five shows Amante has competed in she's won three (taken the points) and took Reserve Winner's Bitch in one. She is so soundly built it seems she can't put a foot down wrong and is so clean in her movement. Breeder and co-owner, Judy Hetkowski (Boulder Vizslas), shows Amante to her best. The two are a dream to watch competing in the show ring.

To be sure, Amante is the definition of a "dual-quality" Vizsla. Not only did she compete and win in conformation each day this past weekend, she also worked birds with the style and intelligence we love. Her intensity in the field makes working her exciting and rewarding. Having qualified easily for her Junior Hunter title in 4 straight passes earlier this year, she is now working on steadying. An intuitive learner and extremely biddable, training Amante in the field has been straightforward and relatively easy. Her progress can be marked from one bird to the next and she carries her lessons over from one week to the next.

Needless to say, we're so proud of this multi-talented girl!!
